komfi Sleep System Warranty

The Komfi Sleep System is warranted for a period of 15 years (pro-rata*) against any manufacturing defect arising from poor workmanship, materials or assembly of the product.  All other Komfi foam accessories are warranted for 2 years.

The guarantee does not cover normal changes in hardness or properties that do not affect the pressure-relieving properties.

Pro-rata*:

0-5 years: Full guarantee

6-15 years: Reduction of 1/10 per annum
in form of credit note/replacement goods

Komfi bedbases carry a one year warranty against manufacturing defect 
Komfi adjustable bed components carry a two year warranty against manufacturing defect.

If a claim is made under the guarantee, you must present an invoice or sales receipt as proof of your purchase along with your returned warranty receipt.

The period of warranty starts from the date of delivery.

It is the responsibility of Komfi UK Ltd to replace the product free of charge should the product fail due to a manufacturing defect.  Written details of the said defect must be sent to Komfi UK Ltd.  Komfi UK Ltd reserves the right to request the return of the product.

The warranty will not apply if:

1. The product has been used for any other purpose that its specified uses.

2. Cleaning has been carried out other than advertised in the cleaning instructions supplied with the product.

3. The product has not been correctly stored.

4. Repairs or alterations have been carried out without written  approval from Komfi (UK) Ltd.

5. Notice of defects has not been given within the specified period above.

6. The mattress is not in a soiled or stained condition.

7. The product has suffered malicious damage.

8. The inner sock has been removed from the mattress.

9. The mattress is in a soiled or stained condition.

This warranty comprises the whole of Komfi’s liability in relation to the products, the limitations of liability clauses set out in Komfi’s terms and conditions of sales apply, PROVIDED THAT:

This does not affect the liability for personal injury or death arising from negligence.
In the case of a direct sale to a private consumer, the consumers statutory rights are not affected.
